Excitement, joy, happiness, hospitality and presents -this is how BEMOL representatives were welcomed in the kindergarten of Semeni village, Raion Ungheni, where was celebrated the opening of a children playground. Parents, children, teachers and everyone around gathered in front of the playground where the official opening was about to begin.

 
“What determined you in taking this decision of building a playground?” the local press rushed interviewing, Thomas Moser, the General Director of BEMOL Company. “It already became a tradition for us to engage in social investments wherever we are present. With our petrol station in Zagrancea, which we opened in February 2009 we consider ourselves part of the local community. This time we decided to support the young generation and bring joy in their childhood.” he answered the press, adding “The most rewarding return on one’s investment is the smile of a child.”

 
Among the speakers at the ceremony there were the Mayor of Zagarancea – Mr. Mihai Burlacu, the Vice-president of the Raion – Mr. Petru Langa, BEMOL’s Goodwill Ambassador – Ambassador Dr. h.c. Wolfgang Lerke a.D., the Regional branch director of Development of Education, Youth and Sports – Mrs. Iulia Mancu, the director of the kindergarten – Mrs. Valentina Boz, and, last but not least, the director of BEMOL petrol station Zagarancea – Mr. Ghenaide Roistacer. All of the speakers addressed gratitude to the company for their support. When speaking on behalf of the parents, the director of the kindergarten, Mrs. Valentina Boz, enthusiastically qoted the parents: “BEMOL social engagement is a great example of how companies can support the development of local communities!” The representatives of BEMOL Company, expressed their gratitude for the support received from the local authorities, as well as for the warm reception, kind words and the rewarding experience of seeing the happy children and parents.

 
Since the start of its operations in December 2007, BEMOL and its affiliated companies proudly supported 65 social projects throughout the Republic of Moldova with a total commitment of 3 million MDL.
